To All Baker Scaffold End-Users
“As you are aware, on December 3, 2009, Perry Manufacturing Inc. ceased operations. Mark Starnes served as Perry’s Vice President of Operations for 31 years, where he was solely responsible for the production and manufacture of perfect Perry products. Mark now works as Nu -Bringing the same world class products to market under the name of -Wave Manufacturing. Manufactured in Indiana, Nu-Wave is the sole licensed manufacturer of Perry products.
Other manufacturers and/or importers claim that their products are compatible with Perry. Their components are not manufactured to the same tolerances and exacting standards as Perry and now Nu-Wave. The dimensions of the components are so different that mixing them is dangerous. Perry’s safety instructions recommend using only authorized replacement parts and components. Nu-Wave’s products are licensed by Perry to the exact dimensions of Perry products, so you can be confident that they are fully compatible with Nu-Wave. Nu-Wave not only guarantees compatibility and 100% interchangeability of stacked units, but also of all components! Sincerely, Larry Eberle (National Sales Manager)”

Where and how is the baker’s scaffold used?
Baker’s scaffolding, also known as Baker scaffolds or rolling scaffolds, is a versatile and mobile scaffold system used in various industries and applications. Here’s where and how Baker’s scaffolding is commonly used:
Construction Sites
Interior Work: Baker scaffolds are commonly used for interior construction work, such as drywall installation, painting, electrical work, and HVAC maintenance. Their narrow design allows them to fit through doorways and into tight spaces, making them suitable for working in confined areas.
Exterior Work: They are also used for exterior construction and maintenance tasks on buildings, including window installation, facade repair, and roof work.
Renovation and Remodeling
Baker scaffolds are valuable tools for renovation and remodeling projects where workers need to access various parts of a structure for repairs or updates. Their mobility allows workers to move them to different areas easily.
Commercial and Industrial Facilities
In commercial and industrial settings, Baker’s scaffolding is used for maintenance and repair work, as well as installations such as lighting and equipment placement.
Retail and Warehouses
Retail stores and warehouses utilize Baker scaffolds for tasks like stocking shelves, changing lighting fixtures, and conducting maintenance in high-ceiling areas.
Residential Construction and Maintenance
Baker scaffolds are also used in residential construction and maintenance, especially for projects that require elevated access within homes or small apartment buildings.
Facilities Management
Facilities management teams use Baker’s scaffolding for ongoing maintenance of properties, including schools, hospitals, and office buildings. They can quickly reposition the scaffold to address various maintenance needs.
Theater and Event Production
In the entertainment industry, Baker’s scaffolding may be used for lighting and sound equipment setup, as well as for creating temporary platforms for stage performances.
Stadiums and Arenas
For maintenance and renovation work in large sports venues, Baker’s scaffolding provides a flexible solution for accessing high seating areas, scoreboards, and lighting systems.
How Baker’s Scaffold Is Used
Baker’s scaffolding is known for its ease of use and mobility. Here’s how it is typically used:
Assembly: Workers assemble the scaffold by attaching the components, including the frame, wheels or casters, cross braces, and platforms. The scaffold is designed to be easy to set up, and it does not require additional tools for assembly.
Adjustment: Baker scaffolds often have adjustable working heights. Workers can raise or lower the platforms to the desired level using a hand crank or pin system, ensuring precise access to the work area.
Movement: The scaffold is equipped with wheels or casters that allow it to be moved easily across the work surface. Some models have locking mechanisms on the wheels to secure the scaffold in place when needed.
Safety: Safety features such as guardrails, toe boards, and non-slip platforms are integrated into the scaffold to prevent accidents and ensure worker safety.
Task Execution: Workers perform their tasks on the scaffold platform, whether it involves painting, repair work, installation, or maintenance. The scaffold’s stability and secure work surface enable efficient and safe completion of tasks.
Dismantling: After the work is completed, the scaffold is disassembled, and its components are stacked for storage or transported to another location if necessary.
Overall, Baker’s scaffolding is highly adaptable and mobile, making it a preferred choice for a wide range of applications where safe and flexible access to elevated work areas is required.
